Hi! I'm Hannah Godfrey (she/her), also known as hannah_g. I am a writer, an interdisciplinary artist, a storyteller, a programmer/curator, and a community radio producer. I am also a Professional Co Active Coach and member of the International Coaching Federation.

I strive to work within an LGBTQ2S, anti-racist, feminist, and intersectional framework.

I have been a leader in the art and culture sectors of Canada and the UK, working in contemporary art institutions and museums. I have given hundreds of studio visits to artists and writers, providing them with support and guidance. Through my work, I have learnt so much about why and how people get blocked, the importance of honesty, sincere encouragement, tough conversations, and of creating space to be, alongside space for doing.

I am part of the climate solutions movement that is seeking to urgently save our planet. Through coaching, I seek to empower people to find their place with this work.

I call myself a Pathfinding Coach rather than Life Coach because 'pathfinding' describes my personal experience of being coached and of coaching other people. It’s a process of uncovering, mapping, and movement. It’s a journey with lots of familiar and unfamiliar things on the route

When I worked with a coach it was a revelation. She helped me dig down into what’s important to me, understand how to access my own power and aspirations, and keep in touch with a core of self-confidence. This has affected my whole life profoundly. I want to bring this experience to other people.

I am trained in the Co Active method of coaching. Co-Active is the philosophy of wholeness that provides a framework for people to experience the infinite possibilities of life. Co-Active grows you as an individual and leader through conversation, actions, and awareness—and gets you outside your comfort zone, exploring your own boundaries and becoming aware of the impact you’re having around you.

I currently live and work in Winnipeg, Treaty 1 Territory, which encompasses the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe, Ininew, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and is the homeland of the Metis Nation.
